Tobly McSmith
Founder
Tobly McSmith is author of Stay Gold, a young adult novel about love, staying true to yourself, and transgender issues. Stay Gold is published by HarperCollins and was selected as Amazon, Audible, and Indie Bookstore Best of Month. McSmith's sophomore novel, Act Cool, came out in 2021 and was called "One of the most powerful YA books of the year" by Popsugar. Tobly is the co-creator/writer of nine successful musical parodies, including Friends! The Musical Parody. Tobly was born in Texas. He now lives in New York City with his cats.
Jordyn Joy
Executive Director
Jordyn Joy is a transgender woman who understands how vital gender-affirming care is and how difficult it can be to access. In her own transition journey, she has faced obstacles to accessing gender-affirming healthcare, inclding financial barries and difficuty findng providers with the sensitivity and knowledge to give adequate care to a trans person. Jordyn also knows the importance of clothing as a means of gender expression, and how being able to dress in a way that aligns with your gender identity provides comfort and confidence. She holds a masters degree in social work, and has worked as a mental healh provider. Jordyn is a military veternan and an advocate for trans veterans. She lives in New York City and loves her commuity there. Jordyn brings her love of community and passion for helping other trans people to her role with Stay Gold Foundation.
